Luis Lobo serves as the Executive Vice President and Manager of Multicultural Banking for BB&T (Branch Bank and Trust). Most recently, he was President for BB&T’s Washington Metropolitan Region based in Washington, D.C. BB&T is the tenth largest bank in the US. Based in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, the 145 year old bank has 1,900 branches in 15 states. The American Bankers Association (ABA) recognized BB&T’s financial knowledge program “Bank On Your Success”, impacting 40,000 individuals through 600 multicultural banking centers. BB&T was also the first bank to acknowledge recipients of DACA. Lobo serves as Vice-Chairman ABA Foundation, Past Chairman ABA Stonier Graduate School of Banking, and SECAB USHCC.
