Este viernes, el Downtown de Washington, DC amaneció con cierres viales y restricciones de estacionamiento desde temprano por la Marcha por la Vida, una manifestación anual que reúne a decenas de miles de personas. Si vas a transitar por el área del Mall Nacional y avenidas aledañas, mejor evita estas zonas y planifica rutas alternas.
Qué está pasando y por dónde será la marcha
Los manifestantes se congregan en el National Mall y avanzarán por Pennsylvania Avenue e Independence Avenue hasta la Corte Suprema. Para facilitar el recorrido y garantizar la seguridad pública, la ciudad activó un operativo que limita la circulación y el estacionamiento en múltiples calles clave.
No estacionar: de 6 am a 4 pm
La policía informó que las siguientes calles estarán señalizadas como “no estacionar por emergencia” durante ese horario:

Por razones de seguridad pública, 14th Street podría cerrarse completamente al tránsito entre Pennsylvania Ave. NW e Independence Ave. SW aproximadamente de 10 am a 2 pm.
Si conduces o te desplazas por el centro de DC este viernes, no pases por estas áreas, los cierres serán extensos y prolongados. Sal con tiempo, evita el Mall Nacional y considera rutas alternas o transporte público para reducir retrasos durante la Marcha por la Vida.
